Bio
Johnny Sarpi was appointed Head Coach of the Nease High School Boy’s Soccer Team in his second year of involvement with the program. In his first season he served as Assistant Head Coach with the Panthers and helped guide the team to its second, consecutive district, regional and STATE 4A CHAMPIONSHIP with a 25-5-2 record. Coach Sarpi holds a USSF ‘C’ License. Coach Sarpi came to Jacksonville after spending five seasons as head coach of a boy's basketball team and one season as an assistant head coach of an indoor's women's soccer team in his native country of Brazil. Coach Sarpi serves as Director of '”Select Teams” for the Creek Clash Club (Southwest St. Johns County in North Florida with almost 2,000 registered athletes). Last year he served as Director of Player/Coach Development. For the past 5 years, Coach Sarpi has been the head coach for several competitive teams. He served as the head coach for the U18 boys’ team whom he led to the Regional Cup Championship in 2008. He is the trainer for two competitive teams (U11 Boys and U14 Boys) with the Creek Clash Club. Coach Sarpi graduated from Mackenzie University (Brazil) with a degree in Computer Science in 1985 and from Bandeirantes University (Brazil) with a degree in Physical Education in 1994. During Coach Sarpi’s “spare time”, he is a Program Analyst with a local software development company. He has been married to his wife Marcia for 18 years, they have two children, Fabricio and Giovanna.

Bio
Fernando Duffoo, Sr. is in his second year as Assistant Head Coach for goalkeepers with the Nease High School Boys Soccer Team. Coach Duffoo helped guide the Panthers last year to its second, consecutive district, regional and STATE 4A CHAMPIONSHIP with a 25-5-2 record. Coach Duffoo holds a “D” soccer license along with state and regional goalkeeper certifications. Coach Duffoo has been coaching competitive soccer concentrating on goalkeepers for the past 11 years. Coach Duffoo and his family moved to St. Johns County two and half years ago from Miami.
Carlos Almeida

Bio
Coach Almeida holds a USSF National “C License. He has played and coached soccer his whole life. Coach Almeida has been involved with the Creeks Athletic Association (CAA) Soccer Club since 2000. He has coached all levels for the CAA Club, recreational, developmental, and premier teams. Coach Almeida coaches the U14 premier team that he has developed since they were U10 developmental players. This year he serves as the assistant coach for the U18 premier team and last year when they were U17.
Coach Almeida was born in Brazil. He earned an Industrial Engineer degree from the Politecnica School at Sao Paulo University in Brazil. He played college soccer within the University each department had their own competitive team. He has been married to his wife Thereza for 22 years. They moved to the U.S. in 1992 and have two sons, Daniel and Marcus.
Roye Locklear

Bio
Roye Locklear was selected as the Junior Varsity coach in October of this year. Originally from North Carolina, Roye played collegiate soccer at NCAA Division II member The University of Alabama-Huntsville from 1988-1992, earning All-South honors his senior year. After his collegiate career he spent two years with the Vancouver 86ers of the American Professional Soccer League. 1995-1998 he was a member of the Jacksonville Cyclones of the A-League, a developmental club for former Major League Soccer franchises the Miami Fusion and Tampa Bay Mutiny. His professional career was cut short by a career ending knee injury in 1998. For the last two years he has been a member of the All-Army soccer team and will serve as the Assistant Coach for the team in 2009. He currently is a Coach and Player Development Officer for the Creeks Athletic Association of St. Johns County. He is a current member of the Florida Army National Guard, serving as an instructor with the Regional Training Institute located at Camp Blanding. He has been in the military for the last 17 years and deployed to Afghanistan in 2005. He has been married to his wife Angela for 7 years and they have four daughters; Hailey, Jenna, Jordan and Kelsey.
